I will be serving as Net Control for today’s ARES net. The intent of this Net is to prepare ARES members to provide communications and weather data during periods of disaster or inclement weather.

All ARES stations are requested to use emergency power if available in order to test emergency preparedness.

All licensed radio operators are invited to participate in this net.

If you are a member of the ARES organization, please list your name, county, and affiliation with ARES.

Do we have any emergency traffic or bulletins at this time?

Do we have any priority messages or routine traffic to be handled at this time?

Do we have any announcements for the net?

At this time I will begin to accept check-ins for the Northwest Georgia ARES Net.

This Net is conducted each Sunday at 5:00 p.m. local time on 146.505. If you have the capability, please check into the Georgia ARES Net on 3.975 at 5:00 p.m. local time. Be sure to list your ARES membership and county.
