CLUB MEETINGS

Club meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., at the Rome Senior Citizen's Center, located at 406 Riverside Parkway, directly across from the main entrance to Ridge Ferry Park. Refreshments are served. To view a map of the location, click here.

The club owns and maintains a two-meter repeater, W4VO, at 146.94 (- Offset) and a PL Tone of 88.5 Hz

The Night Crawlers' "Certificate of Participation" has been retired due to the passing of the head Night Crawler - Ed Byars, WB4FGM.

TAILGATE-HAMFEST

ARRL Field Day

The club enthusiastically participates in an annual emergency preparedness exercise sponsored by the ARRL, known as "Field Day". It is always held the last full weekend in June. OTHER ACTIVITIES

The club is involved in many projects and public service. We provide communications support to the Georgia State Defense Force, and to other organizations requiring communications in the public interest. Our club is the sponsoring organization for the Floyd County ARES group, through which we assist with communications in times of disaster.
