VE Testing Dates

There will be a testing session during the Rome Hamfest on October 18, 2008. The testing location will be in the classroom of the Georgia Self Defense Force armory at 340 Wilshire Road. Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. Please be in the classroom by 8:00 a.m. to fill out the paperwork.

You will need a picture I.D. and if you are upgrading - a copy of your current amateur radio license. Fee is $14.00

VE testing sessions will also be held before our regular club meetings; on the second Tuesday on odd numbered months (Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sept, Nov). Check in time is 5:45 p.m. Contact Bill Dickert, KD4EKZ or Chris Lee, W4CBL for more information.

Technician, General, and Extra exams are all given according to FCC rulings. Each test session appearance is $14.00, no matter how many tests you attempt.

Drop-ins at scheduled testing sessions are welcome.
